The individuals’ right to choose how they wish to ‘be’ (Wilkins, 2003) is the focus of this workshop. Looking at the benefits of a person-centred care approach by addressing not only physical needs, but all that impacts on a person’s wellness.
Includes understanding a person-centred care process – from assessment, planning and implementation in order to support each resident to grow.
