The individuals’ right to choose how they wish to ‘be’ (Wilkins, 2003) is the focus of this workshop. Looking at the benefits of a person-centred care approach by addressing not only physical needs, but all that impacts on a person’s wellness.
Includes understanding a person-centred care process – from assessment, planning and implementation in order to support each resident to grow.
This workshop will be facilitated by our Registered Nurse and Occupational Therapist.
Individual care is the cornerstone of excellence in person-centred care for Older Persons in long-term care facilities.
